SERVICE INFORMATION

When installing a new valve body in a CVT transmission, keep an eye out for this clip you may find in the bottom of the box it came in. This clip is used to hold the manual valve in place after production and during shipping. If when you take the new valve body out of its packaging and this clip is still in place, make sure to remove it before installation. In addition, don't forget to perform the Learning Control procedure before road testing to confirm your repair is complete.
