Fuel Filler Pipe: Removal

WARNING: Place "NO OPEN FLAMES' working area.
CAUTION: Be careful not to spill fuel.
  1. Drain fuel from the fuel tank. <Ref. to DRAINING FUEL , PROCEDURE, Fuel .>
  2. Remove the screws which secure gasket.

  3. Remove the rear wheel RH.
  4. Lift up the vehicle.
  5. Remove the mud guard. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Mud Guard .>
  6. Remove the rear sub frame. <Ref. to REMOVAL , Rear Sub Frame .>
  7. Remove the bolts which hold fuel filler pipe bracket on the body.

  8. Loosen the clamp, and disconnect the fuel filler hose (A) and evaporation hose (B).

  9. Remove the fuel filler pipe to the underside of the vehicle.
