Checking The VDC Hydraulic Control Module (VDCH/M) VDC Operation With Brake Tester
- Prepare for operating the VDC sequence control.
< Ref. to VDC Sequence Control . >
- Set the front wheels or rear wheels on brake tester and set the select lever position to "neutral".
- Operate the brake tester.
- Perform the ABS sequence control. < Ref. to ABS Sequence Control . >
- When the VDCH/M begins to work, check the following working sequence.
- FL wheel performs decompression, holding, and compression in sequence, and subsequently FR wheel repeats the cycle.
- RR wheel performs decompression, holding, and compression in sequence, and subsequently RL wheel repeats the cycle.
- Read values indicated on the brake tester and check if fluctuation of values meet the standard values when decompressed and compressed.WHEEL SPECIFICATIONS
Front wheel Rear wheel When compressed 2,000 N (203 kgf, 447 lb) or more 1,000 N (102 kgf, 224 lb) or more When decompressed 500 N (51 kgf, 112 lb) or less 500 N (51 kgf, 112 lb) or less - After checking, also check if any irregular brake pedal tightness is felt.
