Diagnostics for Engine Starting Failure: Procedure

  1. Check fuel level.
  2. Check starter motor circuit. See STARTER MOTOR CIRCUIT .
  3. Inspect ECM power supply and ground line. See CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND LINE .
  4. Inspect ignition control system. See IGNITION CONTROL SYSTEM .
  5. Inspect fuel pump circuit. See FUEL PUMP CIRCUIT .
  6. Inspect fuel injector circuit. See FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT .
