DTC P0182 (TNKT_Low): Fuel Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect SSM. Start engine. Set SSM function mode to F44. If displayed value is more than 300°F (150°C), go to next step. If displayed value is less than 300°F (150°C), system is normal. Check for poor connections or intermittent open in wiring.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove access lid over fuel sending unit. Disconnect fuel pump connector. Turn ignition on. Select function mode F44. If displayed value is less than - 40°F (- 40°C), replace ECT sensor. If displayed value is more than - 40°F (- 40°C), repair short circuit in wiring between ECT sensor connector and ECM connector.
