DTC P0600 - Serial Communication Link Malfunction

NOTE: Refer to illustration for connector and terminal identification. See Figure -Figure .

Turn ignition to OFF. Disconnect connector from ECM. Measure resistance of harness between ECM connector E29, terminal No. 41 and data link connector B97, terminal No. 10. If resistance is more than one ohm, repair open in harness between ECM connector and data link connector. If resistance is one ohm or less, measure resistance between ECM harness connector E29, terminal No. 41 and ground. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, repair short in harness between ECM connector and data link connector. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair contact in ECM connector and data link connector.
