SERVICE INFORMATION

For 1988, the GL Station Wagon, Sedan and 3 Door Coupe have a redesigned horn pad which will not allow the 1987 Cruise Control Kit (SOA386C104) to carry over.

To use the SOA386C104 Cruise Control Kit on a 1988 GL Station Wagon, Sedan, or 3 Door Coupe, it is necessary to order a new Subaru Control Switch (83151GA080). The remaining components carry over for application in the 1988 MY vehicle.

The revised installation instruction worksheet pertaining to the control switch is shown and is included with the switch when ordered.
