COMPLAINT
Buttons on operating panel of transmitter key broken off or damaged.
CAUSE
Wear and tear on operating panel.
REMEDY
Replace rubber buttons.
- Insert a suitable coin at the keyring attachment between the two housing parts and twist gently to press the upper transmitter key housing off the lower transmitter key housing.
- Remove transmitter of remote control with operating panel from upper transmitter key housing.
- Replace rubber buttons on transmitter of radio remote control.
- Install transmitter of radio remote control with rubber buttons in upper transmitter key housing.
- Position upper transmitter key housing on lower transmitter key housing and clip into place.
- Perform function test of transmitter key.
