REPAIR PROCEDURE
Special Instructions
- Use DAS versions 11/2008 with add-on 1082 or 01/2009 with add-on 1083 or higher.
- Follow exact procedures ad described by DAS.
- Use Battery Charger to ensure voltage does not drop below 12.5 volts.
- SCN coding requires connection to internet
- This procedure will install new ME and Transmission Control Unit software
Program Procedure
- Connect DAS to vehicle.
- Select "Vehicle Identification by Control Unit".
- Perform Quick Test and clear all codes.
- From the Main Menu, Select "Systems".
- Select "N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit)".
- Select "Control unit adaptations".
- Select "Program Control unit".
- Select "Online (networked STAR DIAGNOSIS)".
- Follow DAS instructions to install software. (Note: a valid Xentry Flash login is required).
- After software in installed, SCN code ME control module by selecting "Variant Coding".
- Select menu item "SCN coding".
- Follow online instructions to SCN code ME control unit.
- Relearn gear shift position by holding brake pedal for 40 seconds with ignition on.
