Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE REAR WHEEL

- REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

- LOOSEN NO. 2 WIRE ADJUSTING NUT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE REAR DISC
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- DISCONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
- REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
- Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
HINT:
- The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- If the rear speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
