Detection condition
  • Main body ECU detects a short to ground in the trunk lid opener switch (exterior) circuit.

Possible cause
  • Trunk lid opener switch (exterior) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Trunk lid opener switch (exterior) malfunction
  • Main body ECU connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between trunk lid opener switch (exterior) terminal E29-3*1 or E34-3*2 and main body ECU terminal E1-10
  • Main body ECU malfunction
