DTC U0423-00: Invalid Data Received From Power Steering Control Module; DTC U0423-82: Invalid Data Received from Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module Alive / Sequence Counter Incorrect / Not Updated [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, perform the combination meter DTC inspection.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Instrument Cluster > Trouble Codes 

2. Are any DTCs present?

1. Using the Techstream, clear the DTC from the laser sensor.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Chassis > Smart City Brake Support > Clear DTCs 

2. Using the Techstream, perform the laser sensor DTC inspection.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Chassis > Smart City Brake Support > Trouble Codes 

3. Is the same DTC present?

   Result

   Proceed to
   Yes
   No
