Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - ECM AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the E4 connector from the ECM.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      WIRE HARNESS STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D4-13(TC)-E4-20(TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      D4-13(TC)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      WIRE HARNESS STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D4-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

    OK: REPLACE ECM
