Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Cadillac XLR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Complete removal of the I/P trim pad is not necessary. Gently lift the I/P trim pad until sufficient access to the sensor and electrical connect or is acquired.
  1. Partially remove the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .

  3. Gently lift the I/P trim pad to access the sun load sensor.

  5. Rotate the sunload sensor to release from the I/P trim pad.
  6. Disconnect the sunload sensor electrical connector.
  7. Remove the sun load sensor from the vehicle.
