Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) bracket nuts (1).

  5. Carefully position aside the BPMV and bracket assembly to access the BPMV bolt.

    Support the BPMV assembly with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent.

  6. Remove the BPMV bolt (1).

  7. Remove the bracket (1) from the BPMV.
