Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON, observe the scan tool trunk release switch parameter while pressing the rear compartment lid release switch. The reading should change between ACTIVE and INACTIVE.
- If the reading does not change as the switch is activated, refer to Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Malfunction .
- Ignition ON, command the trunk release ON and OFF with a scan tool. The folding top cover and rear compartment lid should release.
- If the folding top cover or rear compartment lid release actuators do not release, refer to Rear Compartment Lid Release Malfunction .
