Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cable to inner door actuation.

    Push the cable back into lock and clip into bracket.

    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the front door lock.

    Install the connector linkage of the lock cylinder and install the lock.

    Tighten:  Tighten the 3 bolts to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

  3. Connect the lock catch wiring harness plug.

    Connect and latch the wiring harness plug.

  4. Fasten the fastening pins between the door handle and lock.

    Install the fastening pins and clip the plastic retainer.

  5. Install the water vapor barrier.

    Install the 2 front door retainer base inner paneling.

  6. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) .
