Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Engine Wiring Trough And DIS-ignition Module Wiring Harness Plug

  2. Remove the engine wiring trough (1) from the cylinder head.

    Position the wiring trough to one side.

  3. Disconnect the DIS-ignition module wiring harness plug (2).

  4. Remove the DIS-ignition module.
      IMPORTANT: Note the arrow on the cover.
    • Remove the cover of the DIS-ignition module in the direction of the arrow.
    • Remove the 2 bolts.
    • Remove from the spark plugs using KM-6009  (1). See Special Tools .
