Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the wiper system module.

    Tighten:  Tighten the 3 bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  2. Connect the wiring harness plug.
  3. Install the windshield air inlet screen.
    • Install the hose for the windshield nozzle.
    • Install the 5 clips.
  4. Install the windshield wiper arms.
      IMPORTANT: Ensure correct installation position of the windshield wiper arms.
    • Place the 2 windshield wiper arms on the shaft.
    • Install the 2 washers.

      Tighten:  Tighten the 2 nuts to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

    • Install the 2 covers.
  5. Install the windshield trim seal.
  6. Adjust the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment .
