Installation Procedure

  1. Position the liftgate handle to the liftgate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolts to the liftgate handle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the liftgate handle bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Reconnect the outside handle swing over clip to the outside handle rod.
  4. Install the lock cylinder. Refer to Liftgate Lock Cylinder Replacement .
  5. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Close the liftgate.
