Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn Ion Red Line, 2004 Saturn Ion 3, 2004 Saturn Ion 2, and 2004 Saturn Ion 1. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Do not pull on the edges of the center high-mounted stop lamp cover. Damage to the cover may result. Slide your fingers between the cover and the lamp, and carefully pull the cover down.
  1. Remove the center high-mounted stop lamp cover.

  3. Disconnect the electrical harness only if you are removing the center high-mounted stop lamp.
  4. If you are removing the bulbs, twist the sockets out of the stop lamp. Remove the bulbs.
  5. Remove the center high-mounted stop lamp retainer screws.

  7. Remove the center high-mounted stop lamp from the vehicle.
