Assembly Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Intermediate Shaft

  1. Slide the steering wheel position sensor into place and remove the locating pin.
  2. Connect any electrical connectors as needed.
  3. Connect the intermediate steering shaft to the steering column. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
  4. Remove anti-rotation pin J 42640  .
