Circuit/System Verification

Verify that RVS is enabled in the vehicle driver information center (DIC).
- If RVS is not enabled, use the DIC to turn on RVS functionality.
Verify that the keyless entry functions operate with all available keyless entry transmitters.
- If the keyless entry system does not function properly with all available transmitters, refer to Keyless Entry System Inoperative .
With the hood closed, verify the scan tool Hood Ajar Switch parameter is Closed.
- If not the specified value, refer to Hood Ajar Switch Malfunction. See Circuit/System Testing .
Verify no RVS disabling parameters are current as outlined in Diagnostic Aids.
- If any RVS disablers are current, refer to the appropriate subsection diagnostics.
