Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Release the accelerator control cable from the throttle lever.
  2. Release the cable retainer locking tangs from the accelerator control cable bracket.
  3. Release the accelerator control cable from the accelerator pedal assembly.
  4. Pull the cable assembly to disengage the rubber grommet from the cowl plate.
  5. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
