Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound SA P/N 21485279, or equivalent, to the threads of the new heated oxygen sensor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bank 2 heated oxygen sensor 2 using the J 39194-C  .

    Tighten:  Tighten the oxygen sensor (lower exhaust pipe) to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the heated oxygen sensor harness connector. Make sure the locking tab is in the full closed position.
  6. Start the engine and make sure no exhaust leaks exist.
