Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right front wheel. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the splash shield. Refer toSplash Shield Replacement - Engine in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the solenoid and bolts.
  5. Discard the O-ring.
