Tools Required

  1. Install oil seal.
    1. 1.1 Install new oil seal using Camshaft/Front Main Seal Installer J35268A.

      IMPORTANT:  Always ensure that the oil pump cover is properly supported when installing seal.

    2. 1.2 Ensure that front main oil seal is fully and evenly sealed.
    3. 1.3 Apply thin film of oil to seal lip.
