Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

Turn ignition off. Remove air induction pipe between throttle body and air cleaner. Disconnect Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, MAP sensor and TP sensor harness connectors. Remove IAC valve mounting screws. See Figure or Figure . Remove IAC valve from throttle body. Remove IAC valve "O" ring and discard.
