Diagnostic Aids

Use scan tool to command EVAP purge solenoid on (PWM 100 percent duty cycle) while monitoring EVAP PURGE - HIGH VOLT test. When fault exists, scan tool will display TEST FAIL. Test will fail only when device is being commanded on and voltage at PCM is high. Test updates every 100 milliseconds whenever ignition is on and device is being commanded on via scan tool or PCM.

Solenoid resistance should be 19-31 ohms.
