Static Test

  1. Remove retractor assembly. Refer to Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Sedan)  or Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Coupe)  or Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement (Sedan) .
  2. Tilt the retractor slowly.
  3. Verify that the belt can be pulled out of the retractor at an inclination of 15 degrees or less and that it cannot be pulled out at over 45 degrees of inclination.
