Output Shaft Clearance Measurement

NOTE: The 5th driven gear has an identifier groove marked on its face. Install the gear with the groove facing up.

Assemble output shaft with 5th driven gear as shown. Use old nut and torque.
Torque Output Shaft Clamp Nut: 150 N.m (111 ft-lbs)

Measure clearance between 3rd/4th cluster gear and 2nd driven gear.
Clearance between 3rd/4th cluster gear and 2nd driven gear

Standard: 0.20-0.35 mm (0.008-0.014 in.)
Measure clearance between 1st driven gear and 1st driven gear thrust washer.
Clearance between 1st driven gear and 1st driven gear thrust washer Standard: 0.20-0.0495 mm (0.008-0.019 in.)
