Removal & Installation: Compressor: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fittings and mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Keep compressor level to avoid spilling refrigerant oil. Add NEW refrigerant oil to system equal to amount removed from old compressor and during discharge of system. Evacuate, charge, and leak test A/C system. Ensure A/C system is operating properly. See A/C SYSTEM PERFORMANCE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
