Test D: Left Rear Or Right Rear Window Does Not Operate From Master Or Door Switch

  1. Verify rear windows are not locked out by lock-out switch on power window master switch.
  2. Connect a test light between terminal "B" and terminal "E" of inoperative rear door window switch. See Figure. Operate appropriate window switch in UP and DOWN positions. If test light is on in both positions, go to next step. If test light is off in either position, replace rear door window switch. See DOOR WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Disconnect power window motor connector of inoperative window. Connect a test light between terminal "A" and terminal "B" of power window motor connector. Operate window switch in UP and DOWN position. If test light is on in both positions, replace power window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light is off in either position, repair open in wiring between power window master switch connector and power window motor connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
