Wiper/Washer System - Front: Operation
The system activates immediately whenever switch is turned on. In INTERMITTENT 1 position, wipers cycle every 2 seconds. In INTERMITTENT 2 position, wipers cycle every 7 seconds, and in INTERMITTENT 3 position, every 12 seconds. In LOW speed, wipers cycle about 47 times per minute. In HIGH speed, wipers cycle about 67 cycles per minute on a wet windshield.
When switch is pushed down to MIST position, wipers cycle as long as switch is held down. When switch is in WASH position, wipers and washer pump activates within one second. Wipers cycle 2 times, and washer pump remains on as long as switch is activated. When switch is released, wipers park after 2 cycles.
