Code P019, Shorted Fuel Pump Feedback Signal: Action

PCM turns on SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. With ignition on, engine off, fuel pump should not be running and fuel pump feedback (PCM parameter PD10) should be zero volts. If PD10 shows voltage greater than 7 volts, repair circuit No. 120.
  2. This checks for shorted oil pressure switch.
  3. This checks for shorted fuel pump relay.
  4. This checks for voltage on circuit No. 120 at PCM.
  5. This checks for proper control of fuel pump relay by PCM.
