Code P019, Shorted Fuel Pump Circuit: Action

PCM turns on MIL.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- With ignition on and engine off, fuel pump should not be running and fuel pump feedback (PCM parameter PD10) should be zero volts. If PD10 shows voltage greater than 7 volts, repair circuit No. 120.
- Checks for shorted oil pressure switch. A shorted oil pressure switch will cause Code P019 to set.
- Checks for shorted fuel pump relay.
- Checks for voltage on circuit No. 120 at PCM.
- Checks for proper control of fuel pump relay by PCM.
