Circuit/System Verification

  1. NOTE: Correct any other engine control and communication DTCs before conducting fault diagnosis on the pump control module's DTCs.

    DTC P069E is an information dtc. If there are no engine controls or communication dtcs, see Engine Management And Fuel System, V6 DTC Index  for diagnosis of fuel pump control module DTCs. Do not replace the ECM due to this DTC.

  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
