Installation Procedure

  1. Refer to CAUTION: RETAINER

    Position the filler pipe (4) in place and hand tighten the center nut (3).

  2. Install the filler pipe hose and tighten the clamp (2) to 5 Nm (44 lb in)  .
  3. Start and hand tighten the lower filler pipe fastener (3).
  4. Connect the evaporative emission line (1). Refer to PLASTIC COLLAR QUICK CONNECT FITTING SERVICE .
  5. Tighten the fasteners (3) to 10 Nm(89 lb in)  .
  6. Install the housing's fastener (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in)  .

  7. Install the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to REAR WHEELHOUSE PANEL LINER REPLACEMENT .
