- Thread the wire through the console.

- Connect the wire to the control arm.
- Fit the control unit to the seat frame and tighten the bolt.

- Plug in the connector to the microswitch.
- Adjust the tension of the cable as follows.
IMPORTANT:
The seat restraint should be upright in the locked position.
- 5.a. Place the locking clip so that it sits firmly on the console but does not lock the wire sheath.

- 5.b. Pull the wire sheath down so that the wire is tensioned and there is no play in the control arm.
- Press the locking clip in place.
- Remove the locking pin from the control unit.
IMPORTANT:
Never lower the seat backrest with the lock pin attached.

- Check the operation of the backrest. Tip and raise the backrest. Check that there is a small amount of play in the control arm, approx. 5-8 degrees.
IMPORTANT:
The seat restraint should be upright in the locked position.
- Check that the unit is adjusted correctly by inserting the locking pin into the hole in the control unit. Remove the locking pin.
- Fit the backrest cover.
