SUBJECT
A/C system does not work after programming DICE
CARS AFFECTED
Saab 9-5 with DICE control module marked with part no. 47 12 345.
BACKGROUND
The A/C system does not work at speeds exceeding 10 km/h if the DICE has be programmed twice in a row.
If the DICE unit has been programmed twice, Tech2 will miscalibrate the programmable memory, which will not be detected by the DICE. It is not possible to reprogram correctly using Tech2.
PROCEDURE
If the problem arises, the DICE must be changed.
IMPORTANT:
To avoid this, spare part programming may only be performed once. If further programming is necessary, turn off and disconnect Tech2, and wait five seconds before continuing with programming.
