NOTE: Cruise control system on 9000 Series with Traction Control System (TCS) is controlled by TCS computer. To test system on these models, see BRAKE SYSTEM - TRACTION CONTROL article in the BRAKES section. Limited information on base cruise control system is available from manufacturer.

Cruise control system consists of speed transmitter (in speedometer), selector switch, control unit, vacuum pump, vacuum controller and pedal switches.
