ISSUE & TIP

When diagnosing complaints of engine stalling when the throttle is closed Saab 900 and 9000 turbo models, be sure to check the operation of the air bypass valve. Check the bypass valve with a vacuum pump to ensure that the diaphragm is not leaking. If it is, replace the valve.
