Subsequent Work

Information 

After replacing airbag components, proof of replacement must be documented in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.

1. Install door panel

   > 705919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DOOR PANEL - article on "Installing"

2. Connect battery ground strap and carry out work instructions after connecting the battery

   > For 2.0L, WM, 270619 - REMOVING AND REINSTALLING BATTERY

   For 2.5L, WM, 270619 - REMOVING AND REINSTALLING BATTERY

   .

3. If a head airbag was replaced, proof of replacement must be entered in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
