Installing Front Pressure Sensor

WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts
  • Danger of injury
  • Loss of torque

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

  1. Position front pressure sensor on the door sub-frame.
  2. Clip in front pressure sensor.
  3. Tighten fastening nut -2-  for the pressure sensor to the prescribed tightening torque. Tightening Torque 2.5 Nm (2 ft. lb.)

  4. Turn door sub-frame 180°.
  5. Plug electric plug connection into the front pressure sensor -1-  (-A-  ) and lock it -a-  .
