Installing Fuse Element In Power Distributor

- Use a new fuse element and insert new fastening nuts -4- . → Tightening torque: 4 Nm.
- Slide cover of power distributor from front to back -arrow A-
and press on it -arrow B-
until the latch engages.
Information
- Only for vehicles with auxiliary battery
- Connect the line for the auxiliary battery to the threaded bolts -arrow A- and tighten with the fastening nut -1- → Tightening torque: 20 Nm.
- Position battery ground strap on the body and screw it on tight with the fastening nut -arrow 2-
. → Tightening torque: 20 Nm.
WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
- Move the seat in its folded position towards the rear -arrow A- and then tip forward -arrow B- .
- Screw in fastening screws -arrows 1- . → Tightening torque: 45 Nm
- Clip in the front seat trim (-arrow C- ).
