SITUATION

Sporadic faults during control unit programming and coding

INFORMATION

During automatic programming of the PDK control unit, the instrument cluster  is also programmed with a new data record in addition to the DME control unit on certain vehicles for compatibility reasons since the introduction of PIWIS Tester Release 12.900 (Scope, etc. for workshop campaign WD09.

Due to an error in the diagnostic data, programming can be aborted sporadically during instrument cluster programming. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the instrument cluster cannot be coded successfully in some cases.
