Spring strut valve, front left: Diagnosis/troubleshooting

DIAGNOSIS/TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

1	Check wiring between solenoid block and level control module for short circuit to B+:	Switch off ignition. Pull plug A off level control module. Pull plug off solenoid block. Switch on ignition. Measure voltage between level control module plug A 'pin 18' and ground.	< 0.3 V Go to Step 2	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
2	Check wiring between solenoid block and level control module for short circuit to ground:	Switch off ignition. Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pins 18, 37' and ground.	∞ Ω Go to Step 3	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
3	Check wiring between solenoid block and level control module for open circuit:	Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pins 18, 37' and solenoid block plug A 'pins 4, 5'.	< 5 Ω Go to Step 4	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
4	Check wiring between compressor relay and level control module for short circuit to ground:	Switch off ignition. Pull plug off compressor relay. Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pin 36' and ground.	∞ Ω Go to Step 5	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
5	Check wiring between compressor relay and level control module for open circuit:	Measure resistance between level control module plug A 'pin 36' and compressor relay plug A 'pin 3D'.	< 5 Ω Go to Step 6	Repair or replace wiring harness. → End
6	Replace level control module.		→ End	Go to Step 7
7	Replace solenoid block.		→ End
