DTC P1455, P1456 & P1457: A/C Compressor Control

  1. If DTC P1455 is set, remove A/C relay. Connect ohmmeter between ECM connector terminal 62 (Green/White wire) and A/C relay connector terminal No. 2 (Green/White wire). If continuity is present, system is okay. If continuity is not present, repair open circuit in White/Green wire.
  2. If DTC P1456 is set, remove A/C relay. Disconnect ECM connector. Connect voltmeter between A/C relay connector terminal No. 2 (Green/White wire) and ground. If no voltage is present, system is okay. If battery voltage is present, repair short circuit to voltage in Green/White wire.
  3. If DTC P1457 is set, remove A/C relay. Disconnect ECM connector. Connect ohmmeter between A/C relay connector terminal No. 2 (Green/White wire) and ground. If no continuity is present, system is okay. If continuity is present, repair short circuit to ground in Green/White wire.
