Installation Procedure

  1. Apply adhesive (1) to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  2. Using the ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the ventilation valve (1) and tighten.
    • Without a ball joint lock nut wrench to 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
    • With a ball joint lock nut wrench to 10 N.m (7 lb ft)
  3. Install intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
