Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Caution .

IMPORTANT: This torque value can be obtained by using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.) and SST with 30 mm (1.18 in.). This torque value is effective when SST is parallel to the torque wrench.

Using SST , install the air fuel ratio sensor.
Tighten: Without SST 44 N.m (32 lb ft)

Tighten: With SST 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector and wire harness clamp.

Install the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 4 bolts.
Tighten: 12 N.m (9 lb ft)
Inspect for exhaust gas leaks.
